ABOUT US

The Senior Marketing Group of West Michigan (SMG) is a network of business professionals from a wide range of industries dedicated to serving the aging population throughout West Michigan.

 

Our members include business owners, consultants, marketing professionals, service providers, and administrators—all united by a shared commitment to educating and supporting seniors and their families.

Together, we work to raise awareness of the services, resources, and options available to help older adults maintain independence and enjoy a higher quality of life.

SMG is an active and community-focused organization. We host Senior Community Day, a free annual event for local seniors, and regularly participate in initiatives such as the Walk for Alzheimer’s and Feeding America, along with other community outreach efforts.

Throughout the year, members gather quarterly to exchange knowledge, build partnerships, and learn from guest speakers on topics relevant to serving the senior community.

The organization is led by a Board of Directors selected from within its membership. The Board meets regularly to guide operations, establish policies, plan events, and oversee key initiatives that support SMG’s mission.
